Safety, Security, and Volunteers

Here at Christ Community, we value our children and their families and we strive to keep them safe.  We have yearly prevention and classroom management trainings.  We desire to equip and empower our volunteers to tell children about Jesus and to lead children in developing their faith.  All of our volunteers have gone through a background check on the national and the local level.  If you have been attending Christ Community for three months or more and you would like to join our Children's Ministry team, please contact Pastor Calcy and complete the background check attatched to this link:

Power Hour

Our Power Hour worship service is a Bible-based service designed for Kindergarteners through 5th graders during the Sunday worship service. Power Hour includes music, prayer time, creative storytelling, a Bible lesson, games, activities, and crafts – all designed to teach Bible truths.

Sunday School

K-5th graders can also participate in a Sunday School class during the discipleship hour beginnning at 11:00. We incorporate discussion groups, prayer, Bible study, accountability, snacks, and games that are designed for each age group.

Wednesdays with the Kids

Wednesdays with the Kids is designed for Kindergarteners-5th graders. Each year we focus on a different book in the Bible. We meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 p.m. during the school year.
